Aaron Rodgers revealed he has a bit of a goal in mind for “Thursday Night Football.”
The Jets (1-1) will host the Patriots (1-1) in their home opener in Week 3. Ahead of kickoff, Rodgers jumped on his usually weekly spot with the “Pat McAfee Show.”
Reflecting on the start of the year for the Jets, the veteran QB noted the offense needs to come out of the gate faster.
“It’s about efficiency, we just haven’t had a lot of plays the first two weeks,” Rodgers said. “We got to do a little bit better starting the game out, starting a little faster, to get more opportunities to throw the ball down field.”
The way the Jets begin their outing against the Pats will be worth watching. Can Rodgers and the Jets put up points faster in front of their own fans?
