Aaron Rodgers has officially been with the New York Jets for about a week, but he’s already made a massive impact on the organization.
The Jets have already sold 400% more season tickets for the 2023-24 NFL season than last year, according to Sportico. The Jets have also had a 250% increase in new ticket sales since March 15, which was the day Rodgers expressed his interest to join the Jets on the Pat McAfee show.
The four-time MVP quarterback would officially be traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Jets on April 24.

Rodgers’ apparel sales have also shot up with the Jets. The Jets team store reported that Jets team sales on Fanatics’ website have increased by over $1.2 million in the first two days that Rodgers was traded.
Rodgers has also put the Jets in the national spotlight, with ESPN’s Adam Schefter reporting that the Jets could become “prime-time darlings” and could play up to six prime-time games next season. They played just one such game last season.
The Jets finished 7-10 last season, but showed a lot of promise from their young core including having both the Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year in Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner, respectively. But the Jets struggled to find luck at the quarterback slot, with former second overall pick Zach Wilson struggling to find the juice and being relegated to the bench midway through the season.
Rodgers is expected to come in and shore up the quarterback slot and will potentially make the Jets a Super Bowl contender.
