Juventus could be set to terminate Aaron Ramsey 's contract, according to a report in Italy.
The Wales midfielder's loan spell at Ibrox is up and he faces an uncertain future upon his return to Turin.
Ramsey's January arrival was one of the most high profile transfers in Scottish football's recent history but he struggled for fitness and his impact was muted.
His final contribution was an agonising missed penalty in the Europa League Final shootout defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Injuries had curtailed his involvement at Juventus prior to arriving in Glasgow and, according to Tuttosport, he is likely to have no future with the Serie A giants.
They report a contract termination and pay-off are the now the most likely outcomes for the 31-year-old.
His current deal runs until June 30, 2023.
After last weekend's Scottish Cup Final success, Ramsey thanked Rangers for an "incredible few months".
"Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome," he wrote on Instagram.
"It’s been an incredible few months and I’m proud to be a small part of this club's rich history. Thank you Rangers."
He added: "To the blue sea of Ibrox - I want to thank you all for your overwhelming support through the highs and lows.
"You are some of the most passionate fans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Once a Ranger always Ranger."
