Aaron Ramsey is missing again from the Rangers squad for the massive Europa League showdown against Borussia Dortmund.
The Welsh superstar and marquee signing in January has managed just 94 minutes since joining on loan from Juventus.
He was absent for Sunday’s draw against Dundee United due to a “minor knock” but it is serious enough to keep him out of the clash with the Germans at Ibrox.
Gers are leading 4-2 following a phenomenal first leg win but Giovanni van Bronckhorst said: “Aaron Ramsey won’t be in the squad for tomorrow (but) there is no other fresh injury news.
“We had a great performance last week and we know it is only halfway. Our focus is to play as strong as possible and aim to win the match.
“We played to our strengths and pressed in the right moments. It will be a very exciting game and one you want to play.
“To begin the game and sit deep, I don’t think that’s our system. With the backing of our fans we want another beautiful European night at Ibrox as we aim to get into the next round.
“We played well against Dortmund. I think we also played well against Dundee United but didn’t get the result we all wanted.
“We have confidence from our recent performances as we have been creating a lot of chances."
