Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Aaron Murray thinks that Georgia will beat the Auburn Tigers on Saturday, Oct. 5. However, Murray thinks that Auburn will cover Georgia’s massive point spread against the Tigers.
“Georgia wins. I think Auburn can cover the 24. Twenty-four is a lot of damn points,” said Murray via his “Snaps” YouTube channel.
There’s a lot to digest entering the Georgia-Auburn game. Georgia (3-1, 1-1) is coming off a road loss to Alabama and will be very motivated to get back to winning.
Auburn’s season is on life support. The Tigers are worst (tied) turnover margin in the country at minus-11. Auburn (2-3, 0-2) is playing in its first true road game of the season, so it is hard to envision the Tigers cleaning up their turnovers.
Auburn has enough talent to hang with Georgia, but the Tigers will need a few breaks to go their way if they want to keep this one close.
Georgia and Auburn are not just competing on the field on Saturday. The Bulldogs are Tigers are both also looking to land a commitment from a four-star running back.
