In-demand Aaron Hickey is reportedly an £18m transfer target for ambitious English Premier League upstarts Brentford.
The 19-year-old has turned heads in Serie A amid a host of eye-catching displays with Bologna - bringing him to the attention of leading clubs across the continent.
And now the Daily Mail state Hickey is on the Bees' hitlist, as well as an unnamed Serie A club who also remain keen.
League leaders Milan have long been linked with Hickey but it's understood they aren't the Italian team in in question.
The former Hearts star is set to land a small sell-on fee as he gets set to move on from Bologna after excelling as a wing back in their 3-5-2 formation.
His burgeoning potential has now caught the attention of Brentford, who are now aiming to strike a deal for a player who made his full international debut against Poland last month.
Hickey has been linked with a slew of clubs in recent times - including Celtic, Aston Villa and Newcastle.
His versatility in different formations and positions is coveted by clubs in search for a full-back star.
But Brentford are pushing ahead but no deal is secured yet.
