Aaron Carter's mum has detailed the heartfelt plans for the late singer's ashes.
The I Want Candy hitmaker's devastated mum Jane plans to spread her son's ashes in a special location alongside herself when she eventually passes away.
The family are bringing Aaron back to his hometown for a touching tribute during next Spring in Florida Keys, according to reports.
His ashes will be scattered in the ocean, alongside some remains from his late sister Leslie who died following a drug overdose in 2012.
The family reportedly plans to keep some of Aaron and Leslie's ashes aside so they can be buried alongside Jane one day.
TMZ say that Aaron's mum explained his remains are still with his twin sister Angel.
"She also told us Aaron's fiancée Melanie Martin will not be part of the family's ceremony next year in the Keys," they reported.
The singer was tragically found dead in the bathtub of his Californian home earlier this month at just 34 years old. His cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
It comes after Aaron's fiancée Melanie put on a brave face as she marked her first Thanksgiving without him.
She took to her Instagram Stories last week to give fans an update on her Thanksgiving celebrations as she gathered with family and friends.
The social media influencer posted an adorable video of her one-year-old son Prince, who she shared with Aaron, as he smiled for the camera.
Earlier in the day, Melanie shared a tribute throwback video of her, baby Prince and Aaron as he played piano for her.
She captioned the Instagram post: "I can barely watch this video but I thought I would share. I loved these moments we had such a beautiful family."
Fans offered their support to Melanie, with one person writing: "What a precious moment. The holidays are the hardest but you’ve got this!!!"
Aaron was launched into the spotlight after he opened for his brother's band during their 1997 tour.
He also supported Britney Spears when he was younger, and he got his first record deal when he was just nine. He later released his self-titled album Aaron Carter, which reached gold status.
He went on to release Aaron's Party (Come and Get It) in 2000 and that went triple platinum.
