AAP alleges BJP got MCD budget passed 'unethically' through officials, civic body denies charge

NEW DELHI: Accusing the BJP of "backstabbing" Delhiites by making officials "unethically" pass the budget of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) even before the elections of mayor and deputy mayor could take place, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday demanded that the budget be withdrawn.

However, a senior MCD official said the budget had not been passed.
