A720 Edinburgh bypass crash sparks huge delays as drivers face rush hour chaos

Edinburgh A720 Traffic Scotland Edinburgh City Bypass

Traffic Scotland has warned drivers of severe delays on the Edinburgh City Bypass after a collision on Tuesday afternoon.

Lane 2 of the westbound section of the A720 was blocked off in the early afternoon. Just before 3pm, Traffic Scotland tweeted: "The westbound carriageway is currently restricted due to a broken down vehicle.

"Police and TRISS are en-route."
