Gary Brooker – one third of the writing team behind Procol Harum’s seminal Summer of Love anthem A Whiter Shade Of Pale – also worked with the likes of Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr and Kate Bush, as well as creating solo work. In 2017 – five years before his death at 76 – he fronted a new Procol Harum album, as well as a deluxe anthology to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary.
