What’s going on between Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals?
As of Monday, it feels like it’s finally coming to a head after his agent Erik Burkhardt dropped a looong statement that basically told the Cardinals that if they want Murray to be their long-term quarterback — something he apparently wants — they needed to pay him with a big contract.
What I’m not so sure about is how this all started. Perhaps it was the way the 2021 season went, with Murray getting MVP talk before the Cardinals took a nosedive.
