NEW DELHI: Former India cricketer Anshuman Gaekwad, who played in 40 Tests and 15 ODIs, passed away after a prolonged battle with blood cancer. Gaekwad's contributions to Indian cricket were vast, including roles as a coach and selector.
His passing has prompted tributes from numerous prominent figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India head coach Gautam Gambhir, and former spinner Harbhajan Singh.
