A sports anchor brilliantly hid 45 different Taylor Swift references into his live update

I’ve got quite the proposition for you if you love sports and you love the musical stylings of Taylor Swift — a known Philadelphia Eagles fan.

During a recent broadcast of KSTP 5 ABC in Minnesota, sports anchor Chris Long found a wonderful way to deliver his update. Rather than run through his highlights in a typical “broadcast” voice, occasionally and expectantly changing his inflection, Long found a way to weave in 45 different Taylor Swift song references in just under four minutes.

To be clear: He’s not the first broadcast news person to do this.

You might say Long had a blank space and found a way to write Taylor Swift’s name in increasingly creative ways related to Minnesota sports. You might say that.

Honestly, I enjoy Ms. Swift’s music, but I wouldn’t consider myself a devout “Swiftie,” so I couldn’t necessarily identify every reference in that live hit. But, from what I could tell, it was a brilliant piece of television.

I have no Bad Blood toward it.
