A new aparthotel by Marriott Bonvoy is set to open in Manchester city centre this May with an outdoor courtyard where guests can dine, drink or work al fresco. Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly is the hotel brand’s first extended stay property in northern England, joining four others located in London and Scotland.
Handily situated on Laystall Street, the hotel is less than 10 minutes’ walk away from Manchester Piccadilly, while the bars and restaurants of Ancoats and the Northern Quarter are right on its doorstep. Residence Inn Manchester Piccadilly will feature 155 guest rooms over 12 floors, split between “sleek and spacious” studios and one bedroom-suites.
Guests can enjoy home comforts during their stay as each room has a fully-functional kitchen, with a microwave, oven, two-ring hob, fridge, dishwasher and utensils. More than half of the rooms have sofa beds in the living space, ideal for families or groups of friends travelling together.
