There’s sadness in Beeston as an outdoor sports shop is due to close this week. Magic Mountain at New Vernon House on Vernon Avenue has been in the town for a number of years.
Site manager for Magic Mountain, David Webster, said the shop would close at the end of the week, adding: "Our landlord changed and the new one [landlord] is a property developer who wants to build flats.”
