A Place in the Sun taken off air in schedule revamp

Channel 4's hit daytime show A Place In The Sun has temporarily been taken off air at the end of this week, and won't be back next week either. The show has been replaced on Thursday and Friday and there is a new schedule for next week.

Instead Channel 4 is this week showing coverage of annual dog show Crufts on Thursday and Friday, fronted by new Wimbledon presenter Clare Balding.

Crufts coverage will air in the Place in the Sun slot of 3pm to 4pm - and the travel/property show won't return next week either, reports The Echo.

Next week, from Monday, March 13, Tool Club will be shown in place of A Place in the Sun from 3pm until 4pm. The show gives people the skills and confidence to tackle DIY challenges themselves, with the help of experts Max McMurdo, Julia Miller-Osborn and Jess Grizzle.

At this time it is unclear when A Place in the Sun will next air.
