Jasmine Harman has been showered with praise after revealing her journey to body acceptance.
The A Place In The Sun star, 47, inspired hundreds of other women when she posted a candid photo showing her cellulite and varicose veins last week.
The TV star battled through her insecurities and shared the photo despite her nerves and reservations about being judged, in the hopes that she would help make other women feel more comfortable in their bodies amid the ever-impossible beauty standards of today.
After receiving hundreds of positive messages from fans and followers alike for the brave post, Jasmine has revealed that she has been on quite the journey to body acceptance - and it hasn't always been an easy road.
"When I first saw how I looked from behind, I thought 'Oh my god' and almost deleted the picture," she explained.
"But then a voice inside my head said 'Sod it', I've got lumps, bumps and cellulite in places and that's reality," she told Closer.
Jasmine ultimately decided to post the holiday snap because she did not want to add to the 'unrealistic' expectations online.
The TV star first started to embrace her body after being asked if she was pregnant two years ago and 'owning' the comment.
However, Jasmine's decision to love and accept her body as it is comes after years of struggling with her body image and her weight.
The presenter, who is mother to Joy, 9, and Albion, 6, with husband Jon Boast, is also adamant about to setting a good example for her children when it comes to body image.
Although Jasmine learned to accept her body a number of years ago, the TV star went on a bit of a health kick last year.
At the time, Jasmine adopted small changes such as working out every day, drinking more water and taking part in Zumba classes which led to her dropping 20lbs in a matter of months.
After five months of hard work, Jasmine regained her confidence in her body and now feels better than ever.
