A Place In The Sun host Danni Menzies was left screaming after a potential buyer said no to her property selection.
The Scots presenter jetted off to Spain to help father-daughter duo Poppy and Philip purchase their dream holiday home in inland Andalucía. However, Danni was left horrified after the pair seemingly shot down her property suggestion.
Phillip was looking for his ideal retirement home and wanted a private house within a 15-minute walk from the nearest amenities, but was flexible on the number of bedrooms within the property. Danni had five properties within Phillips modest £50,000 budget as she took them on a tour.
The property expert took the family duo to their first home, which was listed at £53,000, but needed considerable work done. Straight away, Danni revealed the house didn't have a kitchen and it would be something the family would need to install themselves.
This wasn't a problem for the family as they've renovated kitchens before, so wasn't a daunting prospect. After showing the pair around the house, Philip concluded the property was perfect for what he was looking for.
Danni asked whether it was a possibility but was stunned when she was met with a hard no from Phillip and Poppy. Screaming back, a gobsmacked Danni said: "What do you mean no?!"
Teasing Danni, Phillip revealed that it wasn't a contender but a "massive probability," as the family fancied the fixer upper to work on. Breathing a sigh of relief following Phillips cheeky joke, Danni was delighted to hear that he would be putting an offer down on the property.
Phillip placed a very low offer of £37,000 but eventually agreed with the owner on £40,000 before celebrating their new holiday home with Danni.
