A Place in the Sun’s Craig Rowe divides fans again with daring fashion choice

A Place in the Sun presenter Craig Rowe has divided fans again with a daring fashion choice.

The property expert from Bristol made his debut on the hit Channel 4 show last week, winning fans over with his “natural” style.

This afternoon (Monday, January 17) Craig returned to find couple Diane and John their dream holiday home, but it wasn’t just his presenting skills viewers were talking about.

Fans of the show were divided over Craig’s loud shirt choice.

As he presented on Spain’s Costa Cálida, Craig sported a patterned yellow, blue and orange shirt paired with bright yellow shorts.

Some viewers loved it, while another likened the pattern to a salty snack.

“Craig’s shirt looks like it has tortilla chips in the pattern,” tweeted @the_cakegoddess.

While @Tubbs24805830 said: “Craig is dressed like a kids TV presenter.”

@kezzypipkin joked: "Craig’s shirt is actually hurting my eyes. Really."

But the shirt went down well with other viewers.

@Bernadettekilro added: "I’m watching you now!!! Great shirt and shirts Craig! Seriously, I like you on this show!"

Craig posted to his Instagram story this afternoon encouraging fans to watch the show.

The Bristol-born presenter, now based in London, had the Channel 4 programme paused as he told his followers he had "quite a morning."

"It's been quite a morning," he said.

"All I'll say is there's highs and lows of being in property and having properties you rent out.

"But I'm not going to talk about that now. I'll tell you all about that tomorrow."

He received huge praise from viewers after his first episode aired, with several describing him as a "natural" and complementing his "fun and entertaining" personality.

Many joked that his bold shirt choice in the first episode was chosen specifically to match the apartment complex he was filming at, but he wrote on Instagram: "It was sheer luck & serendipity that the colours on my shirt matched the buildings."

A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 4pm on Channel 4
