A Place in the Sun's Ben Hillman "shot himself in the foot" as he helped a couple find their perfect property abroad.
The presenter was showing Jan and Bill around five properties in Costa Blanca. The couple had a budget of £75,000 and were looking for their dream holiday home next to a golf course.
Jan had dreamt of owning a property in the Spanish resort ever since she was child and was bowled over when Ben showed them around the first townhouse. The two-bed property was located in Santiago De La Ribera and boasted a communal pool, a private patio at the front and a roof terrace.

Bill said: "Ben, you've delivered here." Jan was reduced to tears as she was shown around the roof terrace.
She said: "I can't speak. I'm mentally putting where all the furniture is. I can imagine and see us here and enjoying it with the grandchildren and it will mean so much joy for so many people."
The enthusiastic response to the first home made Ben excited for the rest of the search. However, he admitted he was concerned he had set the bar "too high".
Jan said the only way it could be improved was if the pool was located at the end of the garden. The couple were unimpressed with the next home in Montemar, which led Ben to confess he'd "shot himself in the foot" with the standard of the first property.
However, Jan disagreed and said Ben had interpreted what they wanted perfectly. She added: "I wear my heart on my sleeve and you can read me like a book. For me, this is a no."
The house-hunters were still in love with the first property at the end of the search. It was valued at £82,237 at the time of filming - and the couple were thrilled when their £78,500 bid was accepted.
