Laura Hamilton was concerned she pushed the buyers "too far" on today's A Place in the Sun.
The property expert was helping Stephen and Gay find their dream home abroad on Wednesday's edition of the popular Channel 4 programme. The married couple had been together for 46 years and were looking to relocate to France.
Stephen and Gay had fallen in love with the Finistère region in Brittany and commanded a maximum budget of £105,000. The couple wanted a furnished home that boasted a number of bedrooms and a garden.

The search did not get off to a strong start as the house-hunters were unimpressed with the lack of space in the first property, which was a two-bed cottage in Balozec. The second property on the search boasted too much space for the buyers before they more impressed with the third home in Huelgoat.
However, they said they were looking for a home with a traditional interior, which prompted Laura to take a "gamble" with the fourth property. The three bed house in Kergodel boasted a stone exterior, which left Stephen taken aback.
Laura branded his face "a picture" before she suggested the buyers take a look around the home which they could bag for a bargain price of £76,396. The 40-year-old admitted she was concerned about the house-hunters reaction to the home.
She said: "I wonder if I've pushed Steve a bit too far when it comes to the traditional style house. She added: "This could go either way. I'm a little bit nervous about what you might say."
Gay said the home would have been perfect if they were 30 years younger, but wasn't the right property for them to retire to. The couple were thrilled with the final property on their search.
The three bed house in Laz was priced at £104,405, but they managed to secure the home for £94,000.
