A Place In The Sun host Scarlette Douglas was left lost for words when buyers she was showing around a property suddenly stormed off.
Married couple Laura and Matt enlisted Scarlette’s help in their search for the perfect holiday home in the Italian countryside.
Their quest took them to picturesque Tuscany, where they hoped to find a house with beautiful views and space for their grown up children to visit with their £180,000 budget.
The couple seemed delighted when Scarlette showed them a three-bedroom farmhouse with a huge open plan living area and modern kitchen which was on the market for just under £170,000.
But things turned sour when the property expert showed them house number three.

The four-bedroom house had stunning views of the surrounding countryside but was slightly over budget at £187,500.
But it wasn’t the price that led to Matt and Laura storming off – but rather the location – and they walked out before Scarlette could even show them round.
Arriving at the house, she said: “I am sensing that you’re not as elated as you were with the previous one.”
Husband Matt said: “The location is a little bit of an issue. It feels like you come off some very remote roads, down a remote track into the woods. It just feels very disconnected.”
Wife Laura agreed and said if it was a permanent move for the family then the property might be suitable – but not as a holiday home.
When Scarlette asked the couple if they wanted to keep looking around, they decided they had seen enough.
“I think we’ve probably drawn a line on this one,” said Matt.
Giving her verdict on the property, wife Laura added: “The house is lovely, but it’s location. So I think it will be a no,” before her and Matt walked off camera
Viewers took to social media to brand the couple “time wasters” following their appearance on the Channel 4 show.
One said: “Urgh I tuned in for a pair of messers. Back to the pebble dash. Until next time Placer Pals!”
“Pair of time wasters,” said a Twitter user. While a third said of Matt: “He’ll never make his mind up... or by the time he has, someone will have got there before him.”
Last month fans hit out at another search on the property programme which was branded the “grimmest ever”.
Buyers Mark and Peter made their way to Gran Canaria to look for a new holiday home for them and their cockapoo.
Part of their wish list included it being close to a LGBTQ+ friendly areas as well as a nudist beach for the pair to enjoy their time in Spain.
However, they had quite a low budget to spend - £80,000 - and were not keen of any of the properties they were shown, leaving viewers dubbing the search "utterly grim"
It comes after A Place in the Sun viewers witnessed a couple make history with the lowest ever budget. Presenter Jean Johansson faced a "challenge" because the couple's budget was just £60,000.
