Channel 4's A Place In The Sun host Ben Hillman was left exasperated by one couple on Monday's show after they seemed impossible to please in search for their perfect holiday home abroad.
Ben, 32, admitted he wasn't sure "what more I can do" as couple Alison and Lee kept turning down the lavish holiday homes he had hand-picked for the pair in Almeria, despite their £170,000 budget.
They had knocked back nearly every property they were shown during today's show, and the one which they were even slightly interested in, Ben confessed it had been snapped up off the market which left them with no options.
Despite Ben's best efforts they kept confessing the properties were "still not big enough" to suit their needs despite many boasting ample bedrooms and two bathrooms alongside a pool, but they were out on a mission to impress their grandkids.
Alison explained: "It is way, way too small. I'm sure it's the perfect house for someone else but our family is too large. We wouldn't fit our bed even in one of those rooms."
It wasn't until they admitted they were "blown out the water" with the next option on offer, which came in the form of a grand castle at £159,000 - well within their budget - but yet again viewers raised their eyebrows as it still apparently wasn't fitting the bill.
"The kitchen was a bit small," said Alison as a frustrated Ben pointed out he had pushed out all the stops to get them what they were searching for. "What am I suppose to do!?," exclaimed Ben as he took them out to the idyllic countryside with stunning views in a last-ditch attempt to find them their dream property.
It was at this point host Ben broke the news to them that the property they had been interested in had been snapped up, but he had one last surprise in store.
The latest stunning property boasted three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a pool and just what Alison was wanting, plenty of orchard. "The question is the price though Ben," she said, before admitting they loved the property.
The 32-year-old host appeared delighted that they had finally gone ahead with one of the properties on offer after he said "oh my days" hardly unable to believe the news himself and urging them to get on the phone and put their offer in before it also got snapped up.
"We don't want to miss the boat and place taken from under us," said Ben as he urged the couple to sit down and get on the phone with him to put forward an offer.
And thankfully after a bit of back-and-forth bargaining, they decided to snap it up despite offering £166,000 of the £172,862 asked and were finally delighted with their forever holiday paradise. Channel 4's A Place In The Sun continues each weekday at 3pm.
