A Place in the Sun house-hunters were in tears after a bidding war on their dream property.
Ben Hillman fronted today's edition of the Channel 4 programme. The expert was showing Yvonne and Graham around five properties as they searched for a holiday home in Alvor, on the Algarve.
The married couple were searching for a home close to the harbour of the charming seaside town and had a maximum budget of £145,000. The search got off to an exciting start as Yvonne and Graham were blown away by the first property.

The one-bed apartment in the East of Alvor was a 15 minute walk from the town centre and boasted a communal pool, and balcony with incredible views. The first home remained the couple's favourite, however they needed to act fast as the host revealed a rival buyer had put a bid in as they were about to view the final property on the episode.
Graham and Yvonne were impressed by the fifth home, but decided to put a bid in for property one. Ben said: "The asking price for that property was just over £147,000.
“An offer has gone in, having spoken to the agent she has informed me if you were to offer £143,500 that would be your property. Right here, right now, it would be taken off the market.”
The buyers decided to bid £140,000 instead, but this was rejected as the owner proposed a counter offer of £143,000. The couple accepted the valuation, which meant they snared their dream property away from the rival bidders.
Yvonne fought back tears of joy after the bid was accepted. She said: "I’m going to well up."
