Health authorities sound the alarm as 35 deaths linked to new Ebola outbreak

Health authorities are sounding the alarm over a lack of funds and resources as a deadly new Ebola outbreak kills dozens in southern Congo.

The World Health Organisation said 57 cases and 35 deaths have been reported since the outbreak was announced by Congolese authorities on September 4, with a fatality rate of over 61 per cent.
