On the night of October 4, 2025, a single Dodge Durango, according to multiple human witnesses, was traveling down the I-4 in Florida at a high rate of speed. The Durango reportedly "veered across three lanes of traffic, hitting and killing a motorcyclist, Joaquin Deno. After that, [witnesses] say she crossed back across the highway, hitting a Ford Focus, which was pushed into Jorge and Nancy Salinas' Honda Pilot, killing them as well. And then, the [Florida Highway Patrol] says, she drove away," according to local news outlet Fox 35 Orlando.
Understandably, plenty of people wanted the driver of the Dodge Durango in question to be found, arrested, and charged. But as I'm sure you're aware while reading this, even if you couldn't possibly care less about cars, there are a lot of people who drive Dodge Durangos. Heck, you've probably seen at least one already today; maybe more, depending on where you live.
