A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on HBO review: Finally! Game of Thrones is good again

We begin on a desolate, deserted heath. A lone knight appears, leading three horses into the far distance. His quest? To get to a tournament and seek fame and glory. Then, as the iconic Game of Thrones music swells, we – ah – hard cut to said knight dealing with a case of explosive diarrhoea behind the nearest tree.

It’s graphic. Maybe that’s because A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms really, really wants you to know that it’s nothing like its parent show.
