'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' episode 2 release date and time: Here's when it's streaming on HBO Max

After a "Game of Thrones"-less 2025, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" has premiered on HBO Max, kicking off a bumper year that will see two Westeros-set shows coming to the streaming service ("House of the Dragon" season 3 is due this coming summer, in case you forgot).

This latest "Game of Thrones" spinoff isn't operating on quite as grand a scale as the Targaryens' series, though. As TG's Malcolm McMillan put it in his "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" season premiere review: ""A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" may look like Westeros, but it's a very different show." That's not to say it's less exciting, though, as George R.R. Martin's Dunk and Egg tales might differ in scale and tone, but they're no less entertaining. And, judging by the "Weeks Ahead" trailer, and all the promo footage we've for what's to come in the future, it's going to be an adventure worth sticking with.
