A.J. Browns plans to stay in his room after hearing security measures for game vs. Packers in Brazil

It’ll be an electric atmosphere in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and we’re predicting a shootout between the Eagles and Packers at Corinthians Arena, home to the Brazilian soccer team Corinthians.

Back in June, Green Bay running back Josh Jacobs told former Philadelphia pass rusher Chris Long an exciting story about the league warning both teams about wearing Green during their trip.

“You know, they said that the part of Brazil we’re going to, you can’t even wear green at,” Jacobs said on Thursday’s episode of Green Light with Chris Long. “They said, I guess, something to do with the gangs and stuff.”

The league refuted that report, but during a Thursday session with the media, A.J. Brown revealed that the security measures and things not to do were so intense that Philadelphia’s All-Pro wide receiver predicted he’d just relax in his room prior to the game being played.

There were a whole bunch of ‘Don’t Do’s,’” Brown said. “So I’m just trying to go down there and win a football game, and come back home.”

When asked what they were told not to do, Brown revealed that some of the things we take for granted here in America are likely a no-no in Sao Paulo.

“A lot, honestly,” he said. “Things that we would normally do here, even something as simple as walking down the street with your phone in your hand, and stuff like that, which is kind of crazy.”

According to Martin Frank of Deleware Online, the Eagles won’t spend much time in South America. They depart from Philadelphia on Wednesday morning and arrive at their Sao Paulo hotel late that night.

Philadelphia will have a walkthrough on Thursday night, likely watch some of the Ravens and Chiefs, and then host the Packers in Brazil before immediately returning home.
