Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown recently shared the message he had for safety Kevin Byard, who like Brown was traded to the Eagles from the Tennessee Titans. The pair were teammates from with the Titans from 2019-2021.
When speaking to the media on Friday, Brown revealed what he said to Byard after arriving in Philly, and it was a definite shot at his old team.
“I told him, ‘You’re a winner now. Things are done different around here. But enjoy it and just get up to speed,'” Brown said, per Josh Tolentino of the Philadelphia Inquirer. “He’s a great player. He won’t have no trouble to adapt.”

Brown has taken his fair share of shots at the Titans since being traded in 2022 in what was arguably the worst move in franchise history, so these comments come as no surprise.
Since the trade, Brown has emerged as one of the best at his position in the NFL. Tennessee has been unable to replace him, as Treylon Burks hasn’t come close to panning out so far.
In that same span, the Titans have a 9-14 record; they missed the playoffs last year. Meanwhile, the Eagles have been one of the NFL’s juggernauts and made it to the Super Bowl last season, with Brown playing a big role in that.
