A.J. Brown had a message for concerned Eagles fans on Saturday after the star receiver appeared to fall off his bike with a vehicle approaching while participating in a charity bike race in Philadelphia.
The shocking scene unfolded on Instagram Live as the two-time Pro Bowler recorded himself biking during a race at the sixth annual Eagles Autism Challenge. Moments after Brown switched the camera from his face to the road, the 25-year-old suddenly dropped his phone while appearing to avoid being hit by a vehicle off-camera before the IG Live stream ended abruptly.

As video of the incident made the rounds online, Brown eventually eased the minds of worried supporters after confirming he was O.K. on Twitter. The veteran wideout appeared to be in a good mood as he explained he dropped his phone after quickly dodging the car, and even took a moment to offer a safety warning to his followers.
“I’m fine everyone lol. Someone ran the stop sign [angry face emoji]. I didn’t fall off my bike, I just dropped my phone and got out of the way. Stay safe everyone [thumbs up emoji],” Brown wrote.

While Brown’s update may have helped Eagles faithful breathe a collective sigh of relief, the tweet, more importantly, confirmed that the fourth-year pro managed to avoid disaster as he continues to enjoy the offseason ahead of his second campaign in Philadelphia.
In his 17 games played last season, Brown tallied 88 receptions for 1,436 yards and 11 touchdowns en route to earning his second Pro Bowl nod and first career All-Pro selection (second-team).
