When Denny Glover went fishing with buddies on the Sacramento River, he was hoping for a solid catch, but he certainly was not expecting to encounter a fully grown humpback whale.
Glover spotted the whale surfacing on Wednesday while fishing for salmon and striped bass from a 21-foot (6.4-meter) boat, which is less than half the size of the animal.
