You never know what will actually happen, but it sure seems like we’re finally winding down the Bill Belichick era with the New England Patriots. With that in mind, it feels more apt than ever to appreciate the coaching legend still treating every snap like it’s fourth and goal in the final minute of the Super Bowl.
We saw this perfectly on Christmas Eve as New England battled the Denver Broncos.
In the second quarter, Belichick took great exception to how quickly the officiating crew spotted the ball, giving the Patriots’ defense no time to make a substitution. And a hot mic captured his glorious rage in full:
