A hostel, which is located at the top of one of Wales' steepest roads but stunning views, has come on the market. The Rowen Youth Club in the Conwy Valley is part of the YHA (The Youth Hostels Association) brand.
At 830 feet, there are amazing views from the windows and grounds of the site that sits under Tal-y-Fan, which is a summit in the Carneddau range of Eryri. But you would need to tackle of of the steepest roads in north Wales in order to reach the property.
The steepest quarter mile of this climb is 19.7%, according to North Wales Live, and is feared by walkers and cyclists alike. There is a road up to the hostel but it may not suit all vehicles in wet weather.
