
A man who narrowly survived a shooting in Iowa was arrested by police when he sought to retrieve his belongings, before being handed over to immigration authorities.
Felipe de Jesus Hernandez Marcelo, 28, was shot during a robbery attempt on 21 June. When he approached Muscatine, Iowa police for his car and cash, he was told he could not have them back. Instead, officers arrested him on an old warrant for an unpaid traffic ticket.
