A farmer who was cleared by a jury after he defended his home and property by flipping a car off his land has been through "months of hell", according to his partner.
Fourth-generation farmer Robert Hooper argued in court that an Englishman’s home is "his castle" and said that he'd been punched before footage captured him using his tractor to shift the vehicle last June.
Fellow agricultural workers cheered the 57-year-old outside Durham Crown Court, as reported by PA, after a jury cleared him of dangerous driving and criminal damage.
