A disappointed Robert Kraft instantly memed the Patriots’ Mac Jones experience

Robert Kraft isn’t used to this. His New England Patriots have never bottomed out.

And yet, at the end of a 10-6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Bill Belichick’s team continued its descent. The two teams combined for an act of foreign aggression in Frankfurt, Germany, combining for a single touchdown in a game that would convert zero new fans from the action on the field alone.

No one understood that frustration better than Kraft. And when his third-year quarterback Mac Jones dropped back, spotted an open Mike Gesicki in the end zone for a potential game-winning touchdown, then badly underthrew him for a crushing interception, he wore it on his face in an instantly memeable moment.

Oooof. Let’s see that again.

Yeah man, I feel the same way about watching Mac Jones. Needless to say, fans and analysts alike jumped on the opportunity to pile on a Patriots team that has six Super Bowl trophies under the team owner who looked like he’d absolutely seen enough Sunday.
