Aus Space Agency Reveals What They Think That Mysterious Object Found On A WA Beach Really Is

The Australian Space Agency has come to a conclusion on what they reckon that big weird “unidentified item” that washed up on a Western Australian beach really is.

ICYMI: On July 16, a disturbingly big metal-looking thingo was discovered on Green Head Beach, which is about 250km north of Perth.

Local bloke Garth Griffiths told ABC News the freaky object is about “2.5m across by 2.5 to 3m long”. Not disgustingly large or anything like that.

WA Police released a statement confirming officers were working with state and federal agencies to figure out where the flip the huge hunk of metal came from.

The object was guarded by police for almost a week as the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and other agencies sussed out if it was dangerous.

After police decided it was of no risk to the community, a front end loader was used to yeet it to a secure location where it could be tested more thoroughly.

Now, in a statement, the Australian Space Agency said investigators reckon the object is most likely debris from an expended third-stage of a polar satellite launch vehicle operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation, per ABC News.

“The part we have is mostly the fuel containment vessel,” Flinders University Associate Professor Alice Gorman said.

“The third stage [of the rocket] ignites, burns until that fuel is gone and the fourth stage is the one that actually gets into Earth orbit,” she said.

“Statistically speaking, it’s probably a bit of a miracle that we have had so few collisions with people or animals or property on land.”

“It could be that the cost of [leaving it in Australia] is less than the cost of shipping or investigating.”

On Twitter, the Australian Space Agency previously said the Big Bessie could be linked to a “foreign space launch vehicle”.

Given the recent revelations about aliens and UFOs, I reckon we should get some Mulder and Scully-esque characters to come check it out next.

Something seems fishy to me…

It’s giving “PUT THAT THING BACK FROM WHERE IT CAME FROM OR SO HELP ME”. Image credit: 9News.

Between the object that was almost certainly used by aliens to visit WA to the revolting half-human, half-mermaid carcass that washed up on a Queensland beach, big things are truly happening Down Under.
