Minnesota day care ad looking for child actors confirmed as prank amid Somali fraud accusations

Social media users are falsely citing a Craigslist advertisement as evidence of alleged fraud within Minnesota day care centres run by Somali residents, amidst an ongoing investigation by the Trump administration.

The now-deleted ad stated a Minneapolis Ventura Village day care was hiring 20 child actors for three days, at $1,500 daily, to pose as attendees during state vetting. However, the advertisement has been confirmed as a prank and is not proof of fraud in Minnesota.
