A college baseball player was ridiculously ejected after a tame home run trot

College baseball season is officially back, and so are the totally nonsense ejections that sometimes come with it. University of Washington standout Will Simpson hit a two-run shot out of the park to bring the Huskies level with Santa Clara at 6-6 in the sixth inning. The infielder trotted up the first-base line, tossing the bat to the side as he started his victory lap around the diamond.

As he rounded second and headed to third, Simpson used his right hand and arm to underline the name Washington on his jersey.
