A British man has been mauled to death after entering the tiger enclosure at a zoo in Yorkshire, England. The parkgoer, who has not been publicly identified, asked a stranger to take a photo of him with the massive Siberian tiger, Altai, behind him at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. According to the witness, the victim posed for a photo with the tiger behind him and was reportedly dancing moments before he entered its enclosure.
“The tiger subsequently attacked the man, resulting in serious injury,” the South Yorkshire Police said in a statement. “Emergency services attended and sadly, despite the best efforts of medical personnel, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
