A bad update is turning Meta Quest headsets into paperweights, but a solution is here

Update 1 PM on January 1, 2025: Meta has established a page to help folks affected. If you've got a bricked headset, go to https://www.meta.com/en-gb/help/product-claim/product_selection/ to request a replacement headset.

Update 11:30 AM on December 30, 2024: Meta has begun offering replacements for bricked headsets and store credit for affected customers, including refurbished units for headsets that are outside of the warranty period.
