£9m deal struck to regenerate Deans South 'ghost town'

Deans South Wheatley Group Springfield

A £9.7m deal to drive the regeneration of Deans South in Livingston has been struck.

Springfield Properties and Wheatley Group say construction work due is now due to begin in the summer.

The homes were finally all torn down last year after two decades of legal wrangling after the crumbling homes were found to contain substandard material Siporex.
