Smallcap plastic materials manufacturer Noble Polymers has fixed Friday as the record date for its reverse stock split in the ratio of 2:1, effectively making today the last day for interested investors to buy the shares of the company to be eligible for the corporate action.
As the name suggests, it is exactly the opposite of what a stock split does. While a stock split divides shares into multiple shares, a reverse stock split consolidates multiple shares into fewer shares.
