The total number of Nipah cases in Kerala rose to six on Friday. More than 700 people of those related to the infected ones were tested earlier this week. As per reports, two people have died due to the infection, which has been identified in the state for the fourth time since 2018.
Among the infected ones is a nine-year-old kid. This brings our attention to the fact that this virus is highly contagious and precautions should also be taken for young kids.
