If you woke up extremely early on Friday morning to listen to Taylor Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department, you found out that she released 15 extra songs to go along with the original track listing.
And you also found out that there were a pair of songs off the album that sounded like they were clearly about her boyfriend, Travis Kelce: So High School and The Alchemy.
Fans have already combed through and found the references, so we’ve collected them in one place. Here’s a look at some of the lyrics that could be Kelce references from those two tracks:
“I wanna find you in a crowd just to hide from you” (So High School)
Something a bit subtle, but the two of them have been in a ton of crowds, including at Coachella 2024 recently.
“Are you gonna marry, kiss or kill me? It’s just a game, but really I’m betting on all three for us two” (So High School)
Remember that video people unearthed in which he said he’d kiss Swift in the “Kiss, Marry, Kill” game? Yep.
Get my car door, isn’t that sweet? Then pull me to the backsеat (So High School)

Fans think this one is obvious.
You know how to ball, I know Aristotle (So High School)
You know you’re good at football. Almost too obvious.
I feel like laughing in the middle of practice to that impression you did of your dad again (So High School)

We assume that’s a reference to Ed Kelce?
So when I touch down, call the amateurs and cut ’em from the team, ditch the clowns, get the crown (The Alchemy)
Touchdown! Team!
These blokes warm the benches, we’ve been on a winning streak (The Alchemy)
Another set of sports references!
Shirts off, and your friends lift you up, over their heads, beer sticking to the floor, cheers chanted cause they said “There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league” Where’s the trophy? He just comes, running over to me (The Alchemy)
Hmmm. I wonder if that’s a sneaky Jason Kelce reference, but really — this is so obviously Travis.
I circled you on a map (The Alchemy)
@kelleylorraine_ It was way too easy to get him going with this😂 #marriedlife #couplecomedy #taylorswift #traviskelce
LOL. Clearly a reference to the “Taylor Swift put Travis Kelce on the map” meme.
