A host of huge music acts are coming to Leeds this summer for festivals and outdoor shows.
This summer is the first since the coronavirus pandemic started where the programme of events looks a little more normal. Thousands will be heading out to enjoy events in Leeds city centre and fields across the city.
We are sure you all know about annual favourites like Leeds Festival and Slam Dunk but we are also welcoming a few new additions this summer. We’ll see the first Live at Leeds: In The Park take place at Temple Newsam and things are going to get cheesy in Millennium Square thanks to the Popworld Festival.

Across the summer, we’ll welcome big name stars like Arctic Monkeys, Megan Thee Stallion, Haim, Dave and Jungle among others. Take a look below and see what you fancy.

Summertime Live Classic Ibiza
Temple Newsam
Wednesday, June 1
A big summer outdoor Ibiza anthems party is happening in Leeds this summer. Taking place at Temple Newsam some of the biggest dance anthems of the last 30 years brought to life by a 32-piece orchestra. The fun will be happening on Wednesday, June 1.
As well as music there will be live entertainers, bars and food vendors. DJs will begin at 6pm and The Urban Soul Orchestra will be on stage from 8pm.

Thursday, June 2
The Music will be headlining a big summer reunion show at Temple Newsam this summer. Others on the bill include The Cribs, The Coral, The Snuts and The Skinner Brothers.
Slam Dunk

Friday, June 3
Alexisonfire, Neck Deep, Sum 41 and Dropkick Murphys will be headlining alternative festival Slam Dunk which will be returning to Temple Newsam this summer. Others performing at the event include 3OH!3, Stand Atlantic, The Summer Set and With Confidence.
Live at Leeds: In The Park

The Vaccines will be performing at a new outdoor music festival happening in Leeds this summer. Live At Leeds: In The Park will be taking place at Temple Newsam on Saturday, June 4. Bombay Bicycle Club will also be performing alongside The Pigeon Detectives, The Snuts, Holly Humberstone, Sports Team, Dream Wife, Alfie Templeman and The Lounge Society.
Let’s Rock

The line up for Let’s Rock Leeds: The Retro Festival 2022 will include household names such as Wet Wet Wet, Billy Ocean, Nick Heyward, Go West, Nik Kershaw and many others. The big nostalgic outdoor party will be happening on Saturday, June 25. Others appearing will be Bad Manners, Belinda Carlisle, Scritti Politti and Johnny Hates Jazz. If you love 80s music then this will be the event in Leeds for you.
Millennium Square concert series
Programme kicks off in Leeds on Friday, July 8
Millennium Square has confirmed plans for 11 big events which are sure to welcome thousands of people to Leeds city centre. Big shows will be coming from Foals, Jungle, Haim and Richard Ashcroft among others. You can see the full programme here.

Peter Andre, S Club, Fatman Scoop, 5ive, The Cheeky Girls and Yorkshire legend Paul Chuckle will be appearing at the first Popworld Festival. If you love 90s pop then get yourself to Millennium Square in Leeds this summer.

Yorkshire music icons Arctic Monkeys, Megan Thee Stallion, Dave and Halsey are some of the acts headlining Leeds Festival 2022. Willow, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, D-Block Europe, Beabadoobee and Poppy are some of the other artists on the bill at the festival taking place over the August bank holiday weekend.

Mint Festival is returning for its 10th year and it has announced its big line up. The fun will be happening at Newsam Green Farm on Saturday, September 10. Some of the acts appearing include Enzo Siragusa, The Martinez Brothers, Sonja Moonear, Patrick Topping, Ida Engberg, Eats Everything, Kristen Velvet, Seth Troxler, Fleur Shore, Sub Focus, Shy FX and Sammy Virji.
