Drum roll ploise….

The Most Explosive Moments From The Final Dinner Party Of Married At First Sight Australia 2026

9. Gia never left Sydney

Despite exiting the experiment for the millionth time — and telling Scott McCristal that she’s “flown to Melbourne”, she’s “heartbroken” and that she’s “curled up with her daughter” — it was revealed by Filip Gregov that Gia Fleur was still in Sydney after he saw her in an elevator.

Filip told his wife, Stella Mickunaite, that he told Scott about what he saw before the camera cut to Gia getting ready for the Final Dinner Party.

In a producer-led interview, Scott slammed Gia for using her daughter as a form of “emotional manipulation”.

8. Danny’s awkward reaction after Bec claimed he said he was ‘falling in love with her’

During cocktail kick-ons, Bec Zacharia revealed to Stella that her relationship with Danny Hewitt had progressed and that they were rooting three times a day (lol).

On top of that, Bec claimed Danny said he was “falling in love with her”. When Stella asked Danny in front of the group about this massive step, he went quiet, and his face kinda scrunched up.

This has to be a humiliation ritual. (Image source: 9Now)

“No, babe, you can’t yell that out,” Bec said to Stella out of annoyance.

When David Momoh pressed on the matter, Danny responded, “I’ll speak when I’m ready, mate. I’ll speak when I’m ready.”

“I’ve never seen him speechless,” Mel Schilling said.

AWKWARD.

7. David gets down on his knee (again)

DAVID. GET UP. (Image source: 9Now)

If you didn’t watch episode one, one of the biggest talking points of the premiere was that Alissa Fay forced David to get on his knee and propose at the altar.

Following a disastrous Final Test, which saw David take his ring off and Alissa throw her ring at him, David attempted to patch things up with Alissa at cocktail kick-offs.

At the start, Alissa shut down David for a chat, asking for “time with the girls”.

In a successful second attempt, David apologised to Alissa for his actions and tried to express that what she did at the Final Test hurt him. But instead, Alissa wasn’t having it.

In a final ditch to win her love, David got down on his knee and professed his love to her with the ring she threw at him, with the participants watching from the other couches.

Instead of reciprocating that love, Alissa said, “Thank you”.

6. Bec and Gia’s plan to ‘out victim’ Scott

Here comes trouble. (Image source: 9Now)

Before Gia made her grand entrance into the Final Dinner Party, Scott explained what had happened between them in the last couple of days, including the fact that Gia had faked an exit from the experiment.

Gia then entered the cocktail party — as the last participant to arrive — and hugged everyone, including Scott.

When the Dinner Party officially kicked off, Gia felt overwhelmed after Bec revealed that Scott had told everyone about what she did and how she lied about leaving the experiment.

Before they could sit down, Bec and Gia went off to the toilets to scheme up a plan…

The camera then cut to a toilet door with only the audio of Bec and Gia talking played.

“You have to be here. Because otherwise, what I just saw in there was ‘poor Scott,'” Bec said.

“And now you, ‘poor Gia.’ You know what you need to do.”

“Out victim him,” Gia responded with Bec coaching her on what to say.

“It’s not about your relationship, it’s about all of Australia.”

It’s giving President Snow manipulating the Hunger Games.

5. Gia reads out her love letter (AKA Final Vows) to Scott

In the middle of the Dinner Party, Bec prompted Gia to “read” a letter she wrote for Scott, which was giving Final Vows vibes.

Within the letter, Gia thanked Scott for “softening” her “hard shell” and that she “put my life on the line to enter the experiment”.

Hilariously, the other participants were munching and chewing as Gia emotionally read out her letter.

“I came back tonight to not leave and to show you that I’m here,” Gia pleaded.

“To bare my soul not for the cameras, but for you.”

Bec was the only one who clapped, and after she clocked that nobody gave A FUCK, Bec pulled the funniest face.

4. Scott breaks up with Gia in front of everyone

Right after Gia’s letter, Scott pulled out an Uno reverse and revealed that he also wrote a letter, and according to Bec, it was four pages long.

Scott’s letter began with him expressing how excited he was with the experiment, and that he told producers that he wanted “someone who was honest” and someone with the “same morals” as him.

“I have felt throughout this experience that I have tried to be the best man I can for Gia — I’m fucking shaking, this hurts,” Scott said.

“I have cared deeply for her during our time together, and naturally, my feelings were forming for her and our relationship. Sadly, though, this wasn’t enough to please Gia.”

Scott went on to claim that Gia would belittle him daily and threaten to leave him constantly.

“Morally, we aren’t aligned. We hold different values of what a relationship should be. I can’t be with a woman who, behind my back, proclaims to the first guy who looks their way, ‘I only date men with money and who will pay for everything,'” Scott said, referring to her behaviour at the Final Test.

“I’m not sure what it is that you’re looking for, Gia. But I can tell you you’re not the one for me. We are a different calibre of people.”

At the end of his letter, Scott got up, threw his ring on the table and knocked his chair over.

3. Gia makes scathing claims about her marriage and Scott as a person

After Scott left the table, Gia made a bunch of claims about her marriage and Scott’s character.

“At the end of the day, it was a showmance,” Gia began.

“He played me, and for the last two weeks he’s been playing.”

The polarising bride went on to say that Scott “never reassures her” and never compliments her. She also claimed that Scott “uses her for her body”.

Gia’s claims struck a nerve with Stella, who told her to “stop right there” with the claims.

Filip and Stella then defended Scott, asking Gia to “cut the shit”. Stella then asked Gia if what Scott had done for her in the experiment “was enough” which then prompted Gia to yell back, “Am I enough? I’m a single mother”.

“Don’t play that card,” Stella clapped back.

Oh, they are fed up. (Image source: 9Now)

Gia went on to claim that Scott had a problem with her drinking wine, swearing and hanging out with Bec, adding that he was “controlling”.

Unfortunately for her, a lot of her fellow participants don’t believe her claims.

“It’s lies. It’s BS. It’s main character syndrome,” Filip said in a confessional.

2. Scott breaks up with Gia (again)

A hard watch for many reasons. (Image source: 9Now)

After Rachel Gilmore encouraged Gia to run after Scott if she really wanted him, Scott ended things a second time.

“I feel like, honestly, I’ve seen enough,” Scott said.

Gia went on to say that she has never chased a man, she doesn’t care about the cameras and that she came back for him.

“You are worth it to me. I’m so in love with you… I’m sorry. I’m really sorry,” Gia said.

At the end of it all, Scott said he couldn’t stick around anymore, and Gia decided to leave.

1. Alissa explodes at David after he took off his ring

He didn’t deserve this. (Image source: 9Now)

Despite having a conversation at cocktails, Alissa brought up their relationship woes.

David explained that he came to the Final Dinner Party to fight for their relationship, but Alissa snapped back, saying, “I feel like I don’t know this person”.

David then asked, in front of the other participants, for Alissa to open up and declared that she loved him.

But instead of taking his message on board, Alissa said she saw “a side of this person that I don’t fucking know” and brought up the fact that he took his ring off.

“That is a red flag for me,” she said.

“That, for me, is toxic. My feelings have changed towards you, and you just have to go at my pace now.”

Alissa expressed that she “felt really really hurt” about his actions and that he “sabotaged” their relationship by taking that ring off.

She was extremely heated. (Image source: 9Now)

David remained quiet while Alissa raged on and on about him, and amongst the chaos, all of the other participants were backing up David, describing him as a “good man”.

Things got extremely heated when David pleaded with Alissa to talk it out. However, instead of discussing their issues, she said, “I actually can’t be bothered.”

David then called her out for “shutting him down”.

“I’m not shutting you down, babe. I’m nauuuurght. I’m nauuuuurght,” Alissa said (sorry, I had to write it like that because that’s what I heard!!!).

But you are shutting it down!!! (Image source: 9Now)

The discussion ended with Alissa leaving the table, stating that “this Dinner Party is fucked up”.

David attempted to chase her, but she pleaded for space, leaving their relationship up in the air ahead of Final Vows.

Welp, there you have it. That’s the Final Dinner Party for MAFS 2026. But don’t fret… we still have MAFS: After The Dinner Party on Stan and The Reunion to look forward to. Yeee-HAW!
