With meetings in Jaipur, Chennai, Puducherry and Chandigarh, the 8th Pay Commission held many rounds of discussions this month with stakeholders regarding pay and pension-related matters of central government employees. The commission is next scheduled to meet stakeholders in Bengaluru from October 7 to 8, 2026.
Meanwhile, central government employees are keenly waiting for such discussions to end so that the 8th Pay Commission can submit its report. Once submitted and then notified by the government, employees will get arrears for the delay in the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission report.
