86,000 to take UP boards in Noida, Ghaziabad from March 24

NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: The UP board exams for classes X and XII will be held from March 24 to April 12. While the pre-boards were conducted internally from February to early March this year, over 37,500 students from Gautam Budh Nagar and 48,500 from Ghaziabad are set to take the offline exams for both the classes across 58 and 65 centres, respectively.

Differently abled students will, however, be allotted home centres, along with 29 minutes of extra time. On Monday, question papers and admit cards were dispatched to the exam centres. Officials said there would be 24x7 deployment of cops at every exam centre to maintain law and order, and live webcasting through CCTV cameras and voice recorders. All the centres will be monitored through a control room in Lucknow.
